The hollow jointed mouth is the gentlest form of jointed mouthpiece. Made of stainless steel and extremely light, this is one of the most popular snaffle bits on the market. It sits on the bars and works primarily on the corners of the mouth and to a degree, on the tongue, when activated. It is suitable for novice or experienced horses and across all disciplines.
