Leather Running Reins with Clips

These leather running reins are made from 3/4" wide local leather and have a snap hook at either end, which attaches to a girth loop. These are popularly used by showjumpers who wish to remove their running reins halfway through a training session. Two girth loops are included for riders wishing to fasten the running rein to either side of the girth as supposed to between the horses front legs. Running reins are a schooling aid and are designed to encourage the horse to work in a round frame. Full size
